Rod,

Thank you very very much for your offer. I will definitely take up on it. I think my problem was trying to do the CSS and HTML part of the deal. It just took me forever to understand it and apply it. I thought I was good at this stuff, but I guess im only a "Word/Excel/Powerpoint" guy.

I agree that you can always tweak things here and there on your site, but for what im looking for, you are 90% there :) Why reinvent the wheel? I am trying to find your email to correspond, but havent found it. You can shoot me an email to rafi@futuretycoons and we can go from there.

BTW: Have you thought of doing a Podcast? I think your topic is perfect for that. I can see a "romantic song of the month" feauture, a guest with some tips/anecdotes, etc. I can refer you to a couple of sites that can help you with that. Its a great traffic generator, and you get to connect with your audience on a much deeper level.

Talk later,

Hi Rafi,

So glad you like the site. And your wife too! Welcome to The Romantic Way.

I'd be happy to help you with your site. I looked long and hard to find sites that were done the way I wanted and found very little. It's a huge question out there -- how do you join a website and blog.

So, what I did was build the blog first and get it the way I wanted, then take a page of the blog: header, sidebar and footer and build the site pages using the exact same structure and CSS files. There were some glitches of course and still are, but I'm happy with what I'm getting. I'm still going to do some tweaking to achieve the look that enhances the photography. Maybe a darker background.

Drop me a note if you have specific questions. I can help by email and steer you to some sites that helped me.

HI Rod:

I found your site/blog on the Cutline website. I found out about the Cutline theme, and wanted to use it exactly the same way you are using it; website and blog. I tried to build it myself, but Im not the best at HTML and other stuff I think I need to build it. I was wondering if you can give me some pointers, since I am looking for a very similar look. I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Rafi
PS-You have a new fan in my wife. I just showed her your site, and loved it. You will see her name out there soon.
